Our Story
Matthew and Gianna first met in high school at Sorsogon State College—Laboratory High School. They were classmates since first year but got close during their second year.
Just like in some classic love stories, they started as friends. Little did they know, they were each other’s crushes.
Came third year of high school, Matthew revealed his feelings for Gianna and started courting her. It was on February 18, 2011, the night of their JS prom, when Matthew received the sweetest “yes” from her.
However, some time during college, they decided to end their relationship since it was hard to juggle being in a long-distance relationship and focusing on their studies.
The year Matthew went to Manila for an internship, they decided to give their relationship a second try.
On their 11th anniversary, Matthew proposed to Gianna at Annabel’s Restaurant. Since then, both have been super excited about planning their very special day when they say “I do”.
