The Wedding of Kimsrean & Yanuth
The Wedding of
February 19, 2026
“They say that life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Our path together started as an unexpected encounter that we still can’t quite believe. But resilience isn’t found in how we start; it’s found in how we stay. We believe a wedding is more than just a union of two people; it is a tribute to the family and friends who have supported us along the way. We can’t wait to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event with the people who mean the most to us.”

Love Story
True love is found in the details. What started as a sincere observation blossomed into a lifetime of devotion. Since 2022, we have walked through life together, finding in each other the missing piece of our souls.
Guided by sympathy and strengthened by trust, our path led us to a joyful ‘Yes’ last May. Today, we stand on the threshold of a new chapter. It is with great love that we invite you to witness our marriage on February 18–19, 2026, as we turn our beautiful journey into a lifelong union.

Wedding Ceremony Schedules
Pre-Wedding Rituals | Day 1:
Wednesday, February 18, 2026
3:00 PM | Honoring the Ancestors
A ritual to inform and pay respect to the spirits of deceased ancestors.
4:00 PM | Monk’s Blessing Ceremony
Monks are invited to chant and sprinkle holy water to bring luck and prosperity to the newlyweds.
5:00 PM | The Cheav Khan Sla:
A Tribute of Gratitude
This sacred ritual is a profound act of Parental Veneration, dedicated to honoring the parents who have lovingly raised us since birth.
In a heartfelt “reversal of roles,” we now shield our parents with umbrellas—just as they once shielded us from the sun and rain—and attend to their care through the symbolic ritual of grooming and makeup. This transition signifies that while we seek their formal blessing to build a family of our own, we remain forever committed to protecting and caring for them in their golden years.
6:00 PM | Evening Reception
An invitation for guests to enjoy solidarity snacks and light meal.
Wedding Day | Day 2:
Thursday, February 19, 2026
6:30 AM | Gathering for the Groom’s
Procession (Hae Chumnoun)
The Groom’s family and guests assemble to begin the traditional march. Bearing ornate trays of fruits and symbolic gifts, the procession makes its way toward the Bride’s residence.
7:00 AM | The Grand Procession & Arrival
The Groom officially arrives at the entrance. The Bride emerges for a formal greeting, welcoming the Groom and his family into the ceremony.
7:30 AM | Presentation of Offerings
A formal introduction of the wedding agenda followed by the traditional “Sâng” (dialogue), where the gifts and offerings are ceremoniously presented and described.
8:00 AM | Presentation of Dowry
& Exchange of Rings
The official presentation of the dowry to the Bride’s parents. Following this, the Bride and Groom exchange wedding rings as a symbol of their eternal commitment.
10:00 AM | The Hair-Cutting Ceremony
A symbolic ritual where parents and guests perform a “hair-cutting” gesture. This represents cleansing the couple of the past and beautifying them for their new life together.
11:00 AM | The Knot-Tying Ceremony
(Pithi Chong Dai)
The most sacred part of the day. Guests tie blessed strings around the couple’s wrists while offering their heartfelt blessings, well-wishes, and gifts for the newlyweds.
12:00 PM | Solidarity Lunch
A formal lunch gathered in honor of the family and guests to celebrate the morning’s successful union.
5:00 PM | Grand Wedding Reception
The final banquet and celebration held at the Wedding Hall. We invite all guests to join us for an evening of fine dining, music, and dancing to celebrate the beginning of our new journey.
